Popular Devotion, Unbridled

Well, we (foolish optimists) thought the 4:30 to 5:00 am bell ringing orgy was just for today, that for some reason devotion to St. Therese was leading to these extremes. No such luck. We found out, to our dismay, that this is going to happen EVERY DAY FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH to call folks to church to pray the Rosary, since October is the month of the Rosary.

It's enough to turn me back into a Presbyterian. (almost)
