Can This Marriage Be Saved?

Here's the history: Young woman has affair with married man who also has two other girlfriends besides his wife. Young woman falls pregnant and considers abortion. Another man, 10 years older, unmarried, has had his eye on said young woman. She asks his advice. He cautions against abortion and says, I'll marry you, the baby will be mine."

Now, about a year later, married in civil ceremony, not in the Church, and proud parents of beautiful baby girl, they are separated. The feud as I can best discern in counseling: He drinks about 5 or 6 beers a day, ("not every day" he says)according to her. She is over attached and dependent on her mother, according to him. She is now 22 years old.
