Update on the Bug Wars

Well,you've suffered through all the complaining about the out-of-control bug population around here. Now there's a little good news:
The cathedral rector payed to get the two rooms infested with spiders replastered. Now the little black multi-legged critters are entombed under plaster. I've gone three nights now with no new bites. Just one small nibble from a no-see-'um in the kitchen this morning. Oh yes, and an infected wasp sting from our outing with the Bishopo. Better now.

Yesterday we were invited to dinner at the home of good friends here. They've helpd enormously to get the house in usable shape. One of the pictures on the wall was a real scorpion, about 4 inches long, lacquered and framed. Not my choice in Art!
